Fishing equipment

The fishing in Norway offers excellent opportunities to catch at least 20 exciting fish species. Not only the target fish determines what kind of fishing gear to use but, of course, also the fishing technique, current/drift and the fishing depth.
Some basic equipment we recommend:

• boat fishing rod 210 to 240 cm, 20-30 lbs, with a medium strong reel with at least 350 meters approximately 0.20 mm braided line.

• boat fishing rod 210 to 240 cm, 30-50 lbs, with a strong reel with at least 500 meters approximately 0.20 mm braided line.

• spin fishing rod about 260 to 280 cm, 60 to 100 grams, with light reel with at least 200 meters approximately 0.15 mm braided line.

If you want to try fishing for trout, salmon or shore fishing other equipment might be needed. Contact us if you need more information!
